Vail, Arkansas

Every now and again the residents of the Great State of Arkansas are treated to something a little special..... snow! More often than not, the State receives that nasty, nasty ice, which leads to a gridlock of the entire City of Little Rock because, well... Arkansans just can't drive on the "slick stuff," nor can they go 1 complete day without a glass of milk or a piece of bread, which explains why they rush in a panic to the local grocery store to stock up on these items as soon as the weather forecasters mention snow.... a week out!!! However, in late January Colby and his mom woke up to a winter wonderland and once the young lad was completely sure that the Little Rock School District classes were canceled, he couldn't wait to get out of the house to play in the white stuff. Once Colby completely chastised his mom for not having a sled on hand, they headed over to the golf course, with the top from a Rubbermaid tub, to slide down some of the snow-covered hills.

Pretty, Pretty Snow

And away he goes!

All smiles aboard his Rubbermaid Sled

Snow Angels!!!!
