Time to Run a Little 'Ole Marathon

Carrying on the tradition of being the only athlete in the house, Colby decided that he wanted to participate in the Little Rocker's Marathon. Over the course of several months, he could walk or run the required 25.2 miles, and on the Saturday before the actual Little Rock Marathon, he was able to complete the final mile of the race on the actual marathon course and cross the actual finish line. The scene that Saturday morning was complete and total pandemonium as 1,200+ kids gathered in downtown Little Rock ready to complete the task at hand... finishing the race and receiving their medal. Quite an exciting experience for the 7-year old to have thousands of people cheering for him as he crossed the finish line.
