Harry Langley
Over the course of the year, the 7-year old has become quite the Harry Potter fan. With Years 1 - 6 saved on DVR, it is not uncommon for him to watch back-to-back movies all day long on Saturdays and sometimes the same movie 2 or 3 times. So, it was absolutely no surprise at all when he announced that he was going to be Harry Potter for Halloween. His mom was so very excited because that was a clear and easy decision; therefore, the dread she had been experiencing of the Halloween costume store was all for naught. Visions of the previous year's 2-hour tour of the costume store had just about kept her up at night; however, with the decision finally made, it was smooth sailing and peaceful sleeping until the 31st, right?! Not. The decision that loomed ahead was 1) Did he want to be Harry Potter in his normal Gryffindor robe?, or 2) Did he want to be Harry Potter in his quidditch robe? One would think that might be a easy decision, but rest assured, it took many, many days of painstaking deliberation before the final choice was made. And in the end, the hallelujah angels sang once again as his choice was.............
