A New Way to Hunt for Easter Eggs

Normally on Good Friday, Colby and his mom head out to the church for the Annual First Kid's Easter Egg Hunt; however, this year was a wee bit.... no, a way bit different! This year the Easter Eggs were to be dropped from a helicopter at the Arkansas Baptist Eagles Football Field; how very, very exciting and quite comical!!!!! Imagine a katrillion kids, all waiting in anticipation for eggs to fall out of the sky. Ms. Cherie tried to tell them to wait in place until after the eggs had dropped and the helicopter had left, but.... that was like trying to tell Colby's mom that they were giving away free shoes at Dillards but she had to sit in the car and wait!!!! The minute the first egg dropped, it was utter chaos as those katrillion kids stormed the field; all the while ducking and dodging the rest of the eggs that were falling from heaven. The scene was priceless.

The throngs began to assemble awaiting the arrival of the helicopter

A little silliness might have ensued while waiting

The arrival of the helicopter!

The dropping of the eggs
