Or, in the case of the Arkansas State Fair….. step right up and get your Fried Oreos, Fried Twinkies, Fried Butter and even Fried Coke! On the same Saturday afternoon that the Arkansas Razorbacks got worked over by the officiating crew in the Florida game, Colby and his friend Julian drug both sets of parents all over the Arkansas State Fair Grounds in an attempt to “ride every ride here!” Having already achieved the level of Amusement Ride Extraordinaire as a result of hanging out at Disneyworld last year, Colby was unfazed by any of the rides on his very first trip to the State Fair. The entourage was able to ignore most all of the carnies as they shouted, “You’re sure to be a winner.” However, after a tiresome and disappointing day (the Hogs loss), sweet little Colby was absolutely unable to walk away from the carnie comment ….. “you look like a strong little boy, I bet you can hit the pad and make the bell ring.” He gave it all he had, and he almost made the bell ring. But never fear….. although his pocket was $10 lighter, he got to take home a 3-foot inflatable hammer -- and boy let me tell ya, no home is complete without one!!
