The long-awaited day has finally arrived...... the first day of First Grade!!!! With much anticipation, Colby's mom got up bright and early; determined to do a much better job this year of rousing the sweet child out of bed early enough to get his clothes on, teeth brushed and hair combed (as well as Colby's hair can be combed) before walking out of the door. Yes..... in the past, sometimes one (or more) of these activities actually took place in the back seat of the Xterra; however, this year will be different!! Surprisingly, this year Colby agreed to let his mother take a few pictures.... and although they are not the best of quality because they were taken with a cell phone (the nice camera was accidentally left at home), they still capture the very essence of this adorable little boy! Have a great year, Colby Wan Kenobi!

Awww, he's getting so big!!! I cannot believe that he's already in 1st grade!! Seems like they should all still be in Cubbies!! ;)
