This season, Colby's T-Ball Team was the Baltimore Orieles (who picks these team names??), so "way cool" (Colby's words) black baseball pants were purchased to go along with the new bright orange jersey. Colby started off the season on second base and as the designated lead-off batter. At times there was still some dirt-playing and clover-picking, but all-in-all it was a pretty successful year in the development of the young man's future Major League Baseball career. Colby and his mom are still holding on to the hope that somewhere down the line, he will be able to have a cool team mascot, like, say...... the New York Mets!!!!
