What an experience Valentine's Day was this year for the young lad! Ms. Lloyd hosted the Pre-K Valentine's Day Tea Party in her class room, and boy, was it a memorable experience! The young ladies were required to wear a dressy dress (gloves and hat were optional) and the young men were required to wear dress pants, dress shirt and a tie. In addition, the young men wore a boutonniere and the young ladies wore wrist corsages. Each young man had to escort one of the lovely young ladies to the table, pull out her chair and help her scoot it up to the table. Everyone was required to place their napkins in their laps and when asked if they would like tea, or sandwiches, they were to answer, "yes ma'am" or "no thank you." After the tea party, the young ladies were escorted back to the sitting area and each child was given the opportunity to pass their valentine cards out.
