There's Nothing Like a Parade

For the fifth year, Colby had the opportunity of riding with the Little Rock City Board of Directors in the City of Little Rock's Big Jingle Jubilee Christmas Parade (mom refuses to utilize the term Holiday Parade). In years past, the group has ridden on top of the antique firetruck; however, this year that truck was out of commission, so the modern-day trucks were utilized. Colby and his mom got to ride in the ladder truck at the beginning of the parade -- right behind the Grand Marshal! Although this particular ladder truck was not from Colby's favorite Station 7, the driver was. A great time was had by all and Colby was able to throw Starbursts out the window to all the kids (and adults that scrambled for candy like there was no tomorrow). And, because Colby was at the front of the parade, once he got to the end he was able to watch and participate in the rest of the parade.
