On November 27th Colby turned five years of age! The day of celebration started with the singing of Happy Birthday as a wake-up greeting. Mom picked up Colby at school after lunch and they headed to the Painted Pig to paint Christmas ornaments and a plate to put the reindeer's carrots that we leave out on Christmas Eve. Once Picasso was finished with his masterpieces, he and his mom made their way to Baskin Robbins for "Mint Chip" ice cream. Later that evening, Colby, Mom & Margo dined at Bill Valentine's Ballpark Restaurant, located at the new Dickey-Stephens Park, home of the Arkansas Travelers. The evening was unforgettable, as Colby was able to dine on the heated patio overlooking the baseball diamond and was presented with an Arkansas Travelers baseball signed by Bill Valentine himself. After dinner, presents were opened, along with the traditional singing of Happy Birthday, and the eating of the blue Birthday cake picked out by the five-year old.
Seven years old and all boy!!! Loves playing baseball, watching his beloved El Dorado Wildcats and everything Star Wars! He spends most of his time pretending that he's a Jedi Knight, eating, hanging out with Margo (G-Mom) and trying to convince his mom that he really in truly does love his 2 dogs; Holly & Thomas. Most of all.... he is a very loved little boy!!!
