Monday was the first day of 'big boy school' as Colby began Pre-K at Fair Park Early Childhood Center -- yes, public school. Lots of changes for the young lad.... he has to wear a uniform (bye bye to the baseball shirts everyday), he must carry his backpack everyday to school, before he enters the classroom he must wash his hands (a task that he absolutely hates to do), and he has to wake up a half-hour earlier (which is killing Mom too!). Apparently, a new school is just another walk in the park for Colby.... Monday morning at school, he asked his mom if she was about to leave, and when he was asked if he was ready for her to leave -- he said, "Yes!"
