He's Headed to the Majors!!!

Colby played T-Ball this summer, and absolutely loved it! His jersey number was #6 and his team was the St. Louis Cardinals (which was tough to accept.... especially since the Cardinals kept our beloved New York Mets from last year's World Series). He started out playing Centerfield, because Coach Flanigan said, "Colby likes to run.... He can chase after the balls!" However, during the course of the game, the kids moved from one position to the other and usually by the end of the game, there were six of them standing on the pitcher's mound. He did a lot of playing in the dirt when in the outfield; however, when he was up at bat you would have thought he was Jose Reyes (Short Stop for the New York Mets). Colby's signature move is to always slide into homeplate -- even if the ball is no where in sight.
